Bridge Rehabilitation
Longbridge Road Pedestrian Structures over Pentwater River
The Oceana County Road Commission is requesting Bids for the construction of Longbridge Road Pedestrian Structures over Pentwater River. Bids for the construction of the project will be received at the commission office located at 3501 Polk Road, Hart, MI 49420, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, May 12th, 2026. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
PROJECT: Bridge rehabilitation work including removal and reinstallation of steel grid deck, replacement of beam splice plates, replacement of bearing beams, installation of steel bracing, and steel cleaning and coating on Longbridge Road pedestrian structures over Pentwater River, Pentwater Township, Oceana County.
Prospective Bidders may request the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office of the Bidding Documents is: Oceana County Road Commission. 3501 Polk Road, Hart, MI 49420. Email: clerk@oceanacrc.org, Telephone (231) 873-3717. Bidding Documents will be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge; hard copy documents are not available. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Oceana County Road Commission reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Oceana County Road Commission.
